oWoD chat that ran on SEaChat.

One of the first group of online WOD chats. STL by Night used SEaChat and ran for about 4-5 years. Originally opened by Diane and Fabian, St Louis closed sadly in 2002 or thereabouts.

Ran in the end by Mike, this Digichat was stunning in its design and closed about 2-3 years ago.

Beautifully done Digi site that disappeared about a year of so ago I think.

One of the first in a long line of play by post online RPG sites based on Vampire the Masquerade.

RPG Links and Reviews is a forum created to facilitate online gaming. It is not to be used to create flame wars, unfairly critique or damage a sites credibility or to hash out old grudges. This forum is meant to be a positive thing for roleplayers whatever their choice of system or brand.

How to review a site
This shouldn't be complicated but I know that it will be for some players. In order for a player to review a site they should have at the very least played on it. You can't give your opinion of you have no experience from which to form an opinion - right? Right.

Be specific in your praises / complaints. Generalities do not serve any one well and it leaves a lot of room open to interpretation. Try to gather your thoughts before you sit down to review a site and do not - please - review a site while angry. It's best to wait a few hours or a day and come back once you're irritation as subsided.

If you have proof - show it. If you have a transcript that will support your claims - good or bad - then add that to your review.

Don't let the past colour your opinion. If you've had run-ins with a person on staff at a site before all we ask is that you try and keep those feelings out of any review you might care to give.

And, remember to stay on topic, don't go on and on about he said / she said. That's word of mouth and inadmissible in a review. We want your opinions and your experiences - not someone elses.

Otherworlds
Otherworlds is an add-on benefit to this forum. Players can create a character from any system or venue and role-play on the board. You can create temporary rooms etc and use the gallery for your characters. Players should feel free to run one shots in whatever gaming system / brand they'd like. You can play dead characters, characters on other sites ...whatever you'd like. The site functions are primarily geared toward White Wolf - however there are different options for example for Legend of the Five Rings / 7th Sea or GURPs. I can probably create sheets etc for different systems (Shadow Run, nWoD) if there becomes a dedicated interest.
